Earth Angel’s Eco Reps are a one-of-a-kind workforce, trained to meet the growing demand for qualified individuals to manage on-set sustainability.

the angel effect

“It’s a gift to be able to introduce people to alternatives. People on set are too rushed to think about composting, but then there we are, with the streams set up, and what would have rotted over centuries in a landfill is suddenly potential for new life. It’s a door opening, and I get to watch people as they discover not only how good it feels to act in the interest of the environment, but also how deceivingly easy it is to change.”

- Mitzi, Eco Rep

“I love being an Eco Rep. When I first joined EA almost a year ago, I didn't think I would know what to do or understand the process but it's being one of the best learning experiences of my life. I've learned so much and enjoy passing on what I've learned to family and strangers alike.”

- Carlos, Eco Rep (left)

“The greatest thing about being an Eco Rep to me is being able to see the impact you are making. Keeping track of the waste diverted and being able to reduce the waste on set is incredible, but even more than that, preventing so much food from going to waste is truly special.”

- Delilah, Eco Rep

“Knowing that I’m part of a greener future on sets and in my city makes me excited to see what’s next. Never thought this would be a route I'd take but I'm glad I did. I also used to portray Oscar the Grouch at Sesame Place Theme Park as a teen and now I'm an Eco Rep, just not a grouch! ”

- Justin, Eco Rep

“The greatest thing about being an eco representative is that I feel I’m doing something for our planet. I’m helping save the environment in a capacity where it conserves natural resources.”

- Shorte, Eco Rep

“It's awesome to be a part of the Green movement within the film and TV industry in such a significant way - with hundreds of pounds of waste diverted per day on each Earth Angel set, the work we're doing is making a tangible difference. There is a lot of potential for expansion / development within Eco Departments on set, so hopefully this is just the beginning!”

- Ari, Eco Rep

EOB and Former Eco Rep

“I'm so grateful for my experience working for Earth Angel. Bolstering our sustainability efforts and shifting the mindset of the crew over my season in the Eco Department was an awesome experience. It provided me with the opportunity to study different facets of the production process which ultimately led to my home in the Locations Department.”

- Everett Parks, Assistant Location Manager, Former Eco Rep

Former Eco Rep

“The EA Eco Rep program was hands-down the best introduction I could have received for working on set. Now, I work as a union 2nd AC in the camera department...the Eco Rep program introduced me to Emellie and the Earth Angel community, who are all surreally kind, hardworking, and inspirational people and who have ceaselessly supported me from the very beginning...”

- Grace Hendricks, 2nd Assistant Camera, Former Eco Rep

“The little grassroots people can change this world.”
